About the Role

About the Role
Reporting to the Director, Business Operations, the Senior Analyst, Enterprise Risk Management, will support the sustainment, continuous improvement and right-sizing of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program, to provide insightful and innovative risk guidance to all programs and departments.
The Senior Analyst, Enterprise Risk Management, will:
- Lead the evolution and modernization of CASA’s ERM program, including framework, policies and practices, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy, operational priorities and CASA’s values.
- Support ongoing risk monitoring and execution of the enterprise risk framework; simultaneously drive the planning, execution and reporting of multiple high-priority and high-visibility risk management engagements, focusing on governance, risk, controls, operational resilience and performance improvement.
- Create and present highly visual, creative multi-audience deliverables and presentations, which connect the dots in a simple and values-oriented way, capturing current and emerging risks, potential issues, opportunities, and mitigating activities which are meaningful and practical for the organization.
- Collaborate with risk owners to execute end-to-end risk management lifecycles, including risk identification, assessment, management, on-going monitoring (through KRIs) and reporting.
- Prepare and present risk reports, trend analyses and recommendations for senior leadership and governance.
- Proactively develop and own relationships with key careholders in the organization to ensure we are adaptable to changing needs and adding value.
- Promoting ethical practice across the organization and providing guidance and oversight on ethical issues and dilemmas in alignment with CASA’s Ethics Framework.
- Knowledge and understanding of risk management standards, framework and process.
- Knowledge and understanding of data analysis, measurement and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong education, instruction and presentation skills. Knowledge of adult learning principles is an asset.
- Ability to build and maintain trusting working relationships with internal and external partners.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Strong time management skills including the ability to prioritize competing work demands in a fast-paced and collaborative health-care environment.
- Excellent attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Strong business acumen, with an ability to connect the dots between the business strategy, tactics, risks, and control environment, with significant exposure to risk/control mindset and frameworks.
- Demonstrated systems thinker, with keen interest in risk management, at a micro and macro level.
- Adaptability and flexibility in fluid contexts and situations.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, health or health sciences, or similar discipline is required.
- Formal training and/or certification in risk management is required.
- Experience in a health-care environment (hospital, community-based or equivalent) is required, with experience in mental health treatment settings a strong asset.
- Master of science or a master’s degree in a health-related or business field (e.g., public health, social sciences, health sciences, business) is an asset.
- A satisfactory Criminal Records Check. This would be the financial responsibility of the successful candidate.
- May be required to travel and must hold a Class 5 driver’s license and have access to a vehicle.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
